To manage expectations, please review our business operating policies below:
Attendance
Cancellation: Cancellation of a private lesson or private group class is subject to the policy of the rented space, with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Other than for inclement weather, if a private lesson or private group class is canceled with insufficient notice to cancel the space rental, the rental cost will be added to the cost of the rescheduled lesson and is due in accordance with the Payment policy below.
Children: Children may attend class if they are serious about learning ballroom. Children are the responsibility of the parent attending class, and are also subject to the Disruptive Behavior policy below. Neither the facility owner nor the instructor will watch children during class.
Disruptive Behavior: In order to keep our classes and lessons fun for everyone, behavior that is disruptive to the fellow students or the instructor will not be tolerated and the individual will be asked to leave without a refund. Continued disruptive behavior will result in a ban from future group classes and lessons.
Late Arrival: Due to limitations with rental space time slots, late arrivals for lessons and classes will be considered lost time. Some facilities keep doors locked, and once we start class we will be unable to accommodate late arrivals.
Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather we may need to cancel group classes and reschedule private lessons to maintain instructor and client safety. We are also subject to the inclement weather policy of the facility owner. We will notify potential class attendees through the calendar and will reschedule private lessons directly.
Pets: Non-service animals are not permitted. See Disruptive Behavior policy above.
Payment
Check Return: If a check is returned, we will contact the client to remedy the situation; which will need to be completed prior to returning to class or continuing private lessons/classes in accordance with the Payment policy below.
Overpayment: Payees are responsible for accurate payment amounts when using non-cash payment options. Overpayment of a class or lesson will be deemed a credit applied to a future class or lesson. Refunds will not be provided.
Payment Timing: Payment is due prior to the class or lesson.
